Fitted with a Casarva IRS Chain drive kit Commissioned to beak the record and ride on the roads from the outset, Gary the owner, set the new world record at Elvington York UK in September 2018 along with 6 UK Timing Association (UKTA) and 3 Auto Cycle Union (ACU) records- so 10 in all and he was only in 4th gear as he flew through the speed trap!
The design follows the lines of the ZZR with ribbed details to the chassis and the bespoke wings with “frenched” stop tail LED’s. The Aero wing has been designed to create the down force needed to keep the rear planted on the road during the flying mile.
It features dropped forks, OZ Ultra Leggera Wheels, Central Strengthening Spar, Pipe Werks end-cans mated to Casarva ceramic wrapped stainless steel pipes.

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being chain, shaft or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
