All Casarva Trike kits feature Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)

The Casarva “Brute” family of Kits are made in 31.75mm (1.25″) 2.64mm walled British Steel Tube which is very strong.

All of our DIY Chain Drive Trike kits are supplied with the Casarva differential (just tell us which side your bike’s chain in on for configuration).

What do you get in the kit?

Your kit will consist of:

1 x Differential Cradle
Configured left or right hand side to suit donor bike
1 x Casarva Differential
Adjustable with sealed bearings, Casarva Renthal sprocket and differential stub axles
2 x Chain tensioners
To adjust the final drive chain tension
2 Pairs of Top & Bottom Wishbones
Top wishbones with camber adjusters: Bottom wishbones with bottom shock mounts
2 x Hub Carriers
With brake caliper mounts for BMW hubs

2 x Mudguard brackets
To weld to the cradle and bolt to the bike frame
1 x Pack of Connecting tubes
To weld to the cradle and bolt to the bike frame
1 x Set of Polybush & Insert (crush) tubes
tubes fit inside the polybushes
1 x High Tensile Nut & Bolt Kit (BZP)
all sized to fit
1 x Set of 14 M6 Grease Nipples
to fit to each of the pivot points for easy maintenance

Construction & Dimensions

Cradle (Fully Bracketed and welded). Supplied mounted with an adjustable Casarva Differential mated to bespoke Renthal sprocket and all suspension and shock pickups).

Construction
31.75mm (1.25”) British round mild steel tubing 2.64 wall. All pivots pickups in laser cut 5mm mild steel.
Dimensions
Cradle dims: Length 460mm x 470 wide x 370mm high will give you approx 1550mm rear track across wheel outer rim faces).

Alternative Narrow track wishbones will give approx 1350mm across the wheel outer rim faces)

1 x Replacement chain
Length determined by cradle fitment (recommend quality XW seal)
2 x BMW e39 type half shafts
Can be supplied cut to length
2 x BMW e39 wheel hubs
E60 hubs may also be used (check wheel fitment)
2 x Mudguards – GRP
2 x 12” x 2.25” diameter shocks
With 6″ or 7″ springs to rated to suit
2 x Hydraulic / Mechanical brake calipers and pads
1 x Rear Brake Master Cylinder 11/16 inch
1 x Handbrake, adjuster and cable
2 x Mudguards – GRP

2 x Front facing marker lights and rear stop / tail lights
Options Available
1 x Replacement Rear Brake Master cylinder
1 x Braided Rear Brake Hoses
2 x Wheels BMW E39 or E60
Both 5 Series need to match hubs pattern (minimum 16 inch)
1 x Hazard warning light kit
If required
2 x Rear Reflectors
