Casarva Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster Trike
Casarva Triumph 2.3 litre Rocket 3 trike with reverse raked tripe triple trees and bespoke 1 metre wide rack!
As always the Casarva Rocket 3 commands attention.
Rerouted in stainless steel the original silencers exit under both sides and the Casarva Elite reverse gearbox and Raked Triple Trees make maneuvering and handling light and easy.
The rack was specified to be 1 metre wide (great for festival kit!) and can take a good payload and we made a special one off folding double bench seat for relaxing on the trike once it’s parked up (not for use when in motion). This also doubles as a handy lockable box once the removable seat pads are taken off.
Casarva demountable tow-bar with single electrics mean this trike is ready for touring for weeks or weekends with all the features needed for hauling the essentials.
What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
