This Casarva Harley Fat Boy trike belt drive was converted on a new 2026 donor bike keeping. A reverse gearbox has been fitted to the side of the engine to make manoeuvring a doddle.
The original silencers were rerouted to exit either side underneath the suspension in stainless steel with mirror polished heatshields – so no rusting chrome to worry about.
The 225 50 17 tyres on the 6 spoke alloys are covered with matching blue with silver pinstripe mudguards and twin combination LED stop tail / indicators with LED front facing marker lights.
The rack was custom made with a 600 x 300 bed and “Gothic” sissy bar with deep pad.
The conversion has the award winning Casarva belt drive differential Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with a frame blasted, primed and coated in high gloss black to match the bike. want to see more – run the video below.
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line, irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
