Casarva First Again!

When asked to convert a brand new Triumph Rocket 3R to meet a very particular set of needs for the rider we said yes. Why wouldn’t you?

The needs of the rider were to be able to ride and control the trike using one hand – their left. No foot controls not right hand controls.

So we moved the throttle to the left made a thumb brake for the front brakes, twin levers to operate the clutch and the rear brakes and an electronic gear shifter to changes gear. All of which needs to be accessible and usable immediately.

This was in addition to making an independent rear suspension trike conversion to bolts to the bike’s frame that also followed the design features of the bike and designing a set of raked from yokes to make the steering effort lighter

Over the next 18 months of so the trike was built,  tested, modified and completed on brief and on budget.

What you see here is a unique trike that won’t make a hero of the rider – there’s no need they already are.

Why was this done at all? As Triumph themselves would say “For The Ride” !
