This Casarva Sportster 883 trike was converted using the Casarva Independent Rear Suspension system with a belt drive.
The silencers and balance pipe were rerouted in stainless steel with heat shield to exit underneath the offside
The customer specified that they wanted a solo back rest which was custom made then the paint work was completely changed to this striking white and red livery on the tank and the mudguards
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line, irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
