This Casarva Harley Davidson Ultra Glide Centenary 2003 Edition Trike has Raked Yolks for easier steering and a Reverse gearbox. we fitted a chain drive conversion to extend the wheelbase adn of course fitted our IRS conversion cradle.
Custom themed paint works was matched to the new wings because the donor bike had custom airbrushed graphics which we matched on the new mudguards perfectly.
We also fitted a reverse gearbox with a Skull shaped gear knob to keep in with the theme! It features a Polished Stainless Steel bull bar at the rear with light pods and LED Stop Tail Indicator combination lights fitted to the wings
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, belt or chain (like this Casarva BMW GS650 trike), has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
We are recognised experts in motorcycle to trike conversions with many years of experience. Please contact us if you want to no more, there is no obligation we want people to make informed decisions when they are thinking about a trike wherever they get it from.
