Indian Motorcycles have been around since the first prototype in 1901! The Bobber is a well engineered modern bike with classic styling and we have made it our aim to keep this classic theme with our Casarva Bobber trike.
As standard the bike is belt driven but as the customer required a proper reverse gearbox this mean the final drive had to be converted to chain drive so the Casarva Elite Reverse gearbox was fitted giving as many reverse gears as forward – going backwards is a breeze!
We took the original silencers and rerouted them either side underneath with additional mountings and linked that with our custom made stainless pipes which have mirror polished heat shields where necessary.
The trikes frame was blasted and zinc primed and powder coated to the same finish and colour as the bikes frame and the original rear number plate bracket was reworked an sits below the Casarva mirror polished stainless steel tube rack and above the Casarva mirror polished stainless bull bars at the rear.
Lattice alloy wheels were fitted to reflect the front spoked wheel and the tyres where white walled.
All new rear disk brakes are operated from an uprated rear brake master cylinder via braided and coated brake lines.
Casarva IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
