This shaft drive Casarva IRS trike features the “Titan” Trike Conversion which is made in 1.5″ steel tube because the bikes frame is in 1.5″ so the frame of the trike and the bike match. The exhausts were rerouted and coated in black ceramic to keep the original look but with re-profiled slash cuts at the ends.
Fitted with a Casarva Elite Shaft Drive reverse gearbox, a demountable tow bar with electrics, re-positioned Suzuki panniers, a bespoke steel rack and airbrushed motifs to the wings which also have 6″ combination stop tail lights and indicators the trike has a presence on the road and it handles well as expected from a Casarva IRS trike.
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
