The Triumph Daytona 675 is a light sports bike. We have fitted a Casarva chain drive trike IRS conversion kit keeping the centre exit exhaust. The cradle has been powder coated in dark grey to match the bike and the mudguards expertly painted in gunmetal grey to match too.
The trike has been adapted for the rider by removing the foot brake and fitting the K2 twin lever brake unit to the right handlebar so all braking is taken care of from the the handlebars.
Superlight alloys are fitted and all three wheels painted in satin Old Gold.
6″ LED Combination Stop Tail Lights and Indicators are mounted on the rear of the mudguard.
Casarva Protech Shocks and Casarva Anti-roll bar in EN43 spring steel working with the upper and lower wishbones do their job and ensure handling and comfort is great.
It’s rapid and fun to ride and a little different from the norm.
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, belt or chain, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
We are recognised experts in motorcycle to trike conversions with many years of experience. Please contact us if you want to no more, there is no obligation we want people to make informed decisions when they are thinking about a trike wherever they get it from.
