Casarva Yamaha Royal Star XVZ1300 Shaft Drive Trike great spec.

Selling on behalf of a customer who commissioned us to build it in 2019 on a bike first registered in 1997 and only double figure mileage since then with a total of 11,200 miles since new. MOT until  Mid June 2025.  1300cc V4 shaft drive.

Built using the award winning Casarva Shaft Drive IRS trike conversion kit and fitted with the Casarva Elite reverse gearbox for the ultimate in maneuverability.

Other features include 5 spoke alloys, A 2 into 1 either side exhaust system has Casarva 4″ slash Cut silencers both sides under the bottom wishbones and a set coordinated Hepco & Becker hard luggage with top case and panniers for touring. Mudguards are mounted with combination LED stop tail lights and indicators  painted Wings to match the rest of the trike.. The seat is custom upholstered with diamond stitching. And the trike if fitted with a touring screen and Sat Nav.

To provide a donor bike of this quality and have the conversion built to this spec would be over £17000 today.

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.

The drive line irrespective of being chain, belt or shaft, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
