The Bandit is a popular and well known bike and here we have fitted with the award winning Casarva Chain Drive conversion and our Chain Drive Reversing Gearbox. Reusing the original silencer we rerouted the pipe to mount the original silencer up and over the top wishbone of the Casarva Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) system with its own tubular support.
The mudguards are painted in red metallic flake to match the bikes covering the 17″ black 5 spoke alloy wheels. LED stop tail and indicators are fitted to the mudguards at the rear.
The frame is blasted, zinc primed and then powder coated in black to match the bikes frame
Casarva IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
