Casarva Yamaha XJR 1300 trike with a Casarva Chain Reverse Gearbox with chain drive to the Casarva differential and drive line to 2 polished black alloy wheels. Mudguards are fitted with LED stop tail lights and indicators and the Casarva spec adjustable shocks are fitted with 700lb springs and assisted by a Casarva anti-roll bar in EN43 spring steel.
The conversion was powder coated to match the bike frame. The trike is fitted with our demountable tow-bar, and a 4 into 1 Casarva Stainless Steel Exhaust system exiting through a Black Widow end can
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being chain, shaft or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
