Casarva Pan European ST1300 Trike

This Casarva Honda Pan European ST1300  is fitted with a Quaife Reverse gearbox and our shaft drive IRS trike conversion kit. Exhausts have been rerouted in stainless steel with mirror polished heat shields and the bikes’ original distinctive triangular silencers have been remounted 

The wings are panted in matching Cardinal Red and have 6″ combination LED Stop Tail / Indicators.
A Casarva demountable tow-bar has been fitted with single electric socket.

What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.

The drive line irrespective of being shaft (like this Casarva  Honda Pan European Trike) , chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
