Casarva Honda Valkyrie F6C trike

Smart in the limited edition paint scheme of Copper and Black with a Gold pinstripe this Valkyrie has presence. With the smooth Flat 6 Honda 1520cc GL engine mated to a reverse gearbox.

Unequal length wishbones give superb handling with light steering via the Raked Triple Trees which increases the fork angle by 6 degrees and reduce the steering  effort  a lot.

The trike has a Casarva made steel tube rack in black powder coat which is strong and useful and also is fitted with a demount able tow bar (you can see the electric towing socket mounted to the lower left at the rear of the cradle.

The stop tail / indicator combination lights are chromed and mounted to each wing which is color matched to the original. The wheels are pure BMW 1& shod with 245 50 17 tyres

What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.

The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
