Casarva Yamaha FJR 1300 IRS shaft drive trike with reverse and raked forks.
All our trike conversions have the Casarva Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). No exceptions. This trike was Casarva Works in Peterborough is finished in a deep gloss black. Also featured is the Casarva Elite reverse gearbox. Making the steering lighter are custom made raked fork yokes. We made a new exhaust system exiting either side underneath. The tow-bar is demountable with single towing electrics to give huge versatility. Out adjustable shocks and anti-roll bar makes sure the handling is the best and comfortable for miles of touring.

What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?
Casarva IRS trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
Each drive line irrespective of being chain, belt or shaft, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
