Casarva Yamaha Royal Star Venture XVZ1300 Shaft Drive Trike.

At the customers request the trike has re-positioned panniers which meant 9 metres of tubing was required to bend and shape the pannier supports. This was to ensure they were able to take the rigours of touring and load, as well as looking good. It features a Quaife Reverse gearbox, high level top box and mounted LED tail light and reversing light. We have fitted custom Mudguards in two colour paint and pinstripes to match the original bike paintwork.

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.

The drive line irrespective of being chain, belt or shaft, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
