A 2017 bike was the donor for Casarva Harley Fat Bob conversion. Trike was converted keeping the original belt drive with the pulley mated to the differential on the award winning Casarva Independent Rear Suspension trike conversion system.
A reverse gearbox has been fitted to the side of the engine to make manoeuvring a doddle and it is fitted with Casarva custom made stainless steel Dual Exhaust with mirror polished heat shields
The conversion has the award winning Casarva belt drive differential Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with a frame blasted, primed and coated in high gloss black to match the bike.
Gloss black twin spar 17″ alloys are fitted with 205 / 50 17 tyres and the rear 600 x 300 mm bed rack is in 1.25″ tube with a Hepco and Becker Top Case to stash all the necessary and the skid-lid when you want to walk about. The mudguards are painted glass black to match the bikes.
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line, irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
