Casarva Suzuki M1800R / M109R / VZR 1800 Intruder Shaft Drive Trike

This Beefy Suzuki M1800 Intruder comes with 3 names (depending where yo live). We are in the UK so it is a M1800R and fitted with the Casarva Brute trike conversion kit (available as a jigged kit for this model for DIY conversions) has great looking lines and a Reverse gearbox.

The rerouting of the exhaust system incorporates the bikes valve and ends in Stainless Slash Cut silencers. It features Assassin alloys that are black with polished blades and the front wheel is powder coated and diamond cut to match. It has mirror polished stainless panels to the wings and Datatool S4 Red Thatcham alarm immobiliser fitted.

What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?

Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.

The drive line irrespective of being chain, belt or shaft, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
