This Casarva Harley Fat Bob trike was converted keeping the original belt drive. A reverse gearbox has been fitted to the side of the engine to make maneuvering a doddle.
The slash cut short shots certainly let other know you are about and the custom gold and black livery paint work sets it apart from any other.
The conversion has the award winning Casarva belt drive differential Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with a frame blasted, primed and coated in high gloss black to match the bike.
Gloss black Japan Racing alloys with polished rims are fitted with chunky 245 tyres and the rear lights are a mixture of 6″ Combination stop / tail and indicators on the mudguards and Maltese Cross on the mirror polished stainless steel bull bars which a Casarva signature option.
Also at the back is a Casarva custom 600 x 300 bed steel rack which takes a practical load for when the needs to strap hi tent and gear for those weekend rally’s
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line, irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
