This Casarva Sportster Forty Eight XL1200X trike was converted keeping the original belt drive.
The slash cut short shots certainly let other know you are about and the custom lavender paint work sets it apart from any other.
The conversion has the award winning Casarva belt drive differential Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with a frame blasted, primed and coated in high gloss black to match the bike.
Gloss black Japan Racing alloys echo the front and the trike and are covered with custom painted mudguards in black with a lavender Le Mans style racing stripe
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line, irrespective of being shaft, chain or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
