The Triumph Bonneville in its 865 parallel twin cylinder form. Fitted with a Cassava chain drive trike IRS conversion kit with stainless steel reroute of the existing silencers
Fitted with 5 Spoke Alloys and LED Stop Tail Lights. The conversion is bolted to the bikes frame after being blasted, zinc primed and powder coated. Casarva Protech Shocks and Casarva Anti-roll bar in EN43 spring steel make sure the handling and comfort is is great.
What is Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) on a trike?
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. The tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar made in spring steel. This assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock and assists with steering.
The drive line irrespective of being shaft, chain (like this Casarva Triumph Bonneville 865 trike) or belt driven, has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each other via half shafts which have been tailor made to each trike and there are options on the track width and wheelbase length to make sure that the trike is set up to be the best it can be. Tyres and wheel size are selected to works best with each trike – one size definitively does not fit all not fit all.
